My slideshow had very fitting music, but WMG and YouTube stripped it off because of copyright infringement. I used half of one of their songs, encoded in mono, and played through YouTube, but they consider that "distributing". I guess they think people won't buy it since they can hear it on YouTube.
Personally, all I think my soundtrack was good for was to keep their song in the public ear, which could only increase sales in the long run. Now I hope everyone everywhere stops playing all WMG copyrighted songs so that they are soon forgotten and perish quickly from the face of the earth.
I would tell you what the songs were, but I don't want to give WMG any free advertising.
